Made by Hand

Every Morgana piece begins the same way: a quiet studio, a small batch, and a pair of hands that care a little too much about the details. We don't run factory lines or churn out thousands of identical units. We make objects meant to feel like they were waiting for you in an old curiosity shop — and that means making them slowly, in small numbers, the way our makers have always known how.

A Small-Batch Studio

Our pieces are produced in modest runs, often only a few dozen at a time. Each one passes through human hands at several stages — shaping, sanding, setting, finishing, and a final look-over before it's wrapped for you. Because the batches are small, the maker can pause, adjust, and treat your piece as its own small ritual rather than another item on a conveyor belt. It also means stock can come and go: when a batch sells through, the next one may look subtly different, because the materials told the maker something new.

Materials We Love

We work with quiet, honest materials that age beautifully and carry their own folklore:

  • Wood — chosen for its grain and warmth, hand-sanded and sealed so the natural figure stays visible.
  • Metal — used for settings, chains, and accents, finished to suit each piece's mood, from bright and celestial to deep and gothic.
  • Natural crystals — including stones like amethyst and quartz, set for their colour, energy, and the old talismanic meanings woven through them.

Because these are natural materials, no two will ever be identical. Grain patterns wander, crystals cloud and clear in their own way, and metal finishes settle into their own quiet patina over time.

The Imperfections Are the Point

A small knot in the wood. A faint inclusion deep inside a crystal. A hammer mark on a metal band. These are not flaws to apologise for — they are the fingerprints of a real object made by a real person from something the earth actually grew. A perfectly uniform piece would mean a machine made it and a material was forced to behave. We'd rather the material speak. If your piece has a quirk that isn't in the photos, that quirk belongs to you alone.

How to Care for Your Piece

Treat your Morgana piece the way you'd treat an heirloom, because that's what we hope it becomes.

  • Keep it dry. Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or sleeping.
  • Avoid perfume, lotion, and household cleaners on metal and stones.
  • Store it away from direct sunlight and heat; a soft pouch or lined box is ideal.
  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Skip harsh chemical cleaners.
  • For wooden pieces, keep them away from prolonged damp.

Cared for kindly, your piece will deepen and settle with time — quietly becoming yours.
